Description
Eclipse
is a flexible teleconference concept, easily be expandable
as needed by room size and number of participants. The system can
be expanded with satellite units when covering larger rooms. These satellites are
equipped with both microphone and loudspeaker.
The satellites communicate with the master unit M104 via an infrared (IR) voice
link. Sound is converted to light and to sound again – from master to satellite. This
unique technology floods the room with IR light allowing it to operate without a direct
line between the units. Therefore, one may freely move around the room during a conference
without disturbing the IR link.
The M104 master supports up to two satellites.

The satellite units have rechargeable
Ni-Mh batteries and are therefore completely wireless. The units include
battery charging and supervisory circuits as well as a battery saving
feature.
